About Shutter Your House

After spending many years fitting shutters and blinds for various companies across London, we realised we wanted to create a company that truly showcased the meaning of craftsmanship. At Shutter Your House, we aim to provide high-quality window coverings and affordable shutters, along with quality customer service.

We supply and fit only top quality hardwood window shutters, whether you are looking for full-height, cafe-style, tier on tier, tracked or something for wet areas, we have whatever you need to accommodate any situation. With a wealth of experience in carpentry and joinery, our eye for detail is second to none, and we work with every client to meet their individual preferences and expectations.

What we do at Shutter Your House



1. Book an Appointment

When an appointment is booked, one of our professional and experienced carpenters will visit your home to show you samples and will advise you on the best design for your windows.



2. Recieve Quotation

We provide a quotation – we do not believe in hard sales, and only provide honest prices for the top quality work that we offer.



3. Place Order

Once your order is placed, your unique custom order will then go into manufacturing and will take approximately 10-12 weeks to arrive. (An express 8 week service is also available at an extra cost)



4. Installation

During the installation procedure, you can sit back and relax as our quality craftsmen transform your windows and home!

Their professionalism and knowledge stands out from their competitors, and I was pleased to use a local family business with a professional carpenter at the helm. I'm delighted with the new shutters in my living room and bedroom and their high quality finish, and my only disappointment was the unexpected 20 week delivery time - but that was outside of their control and due to shipping delays.  Trustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. I just wanted to write my thanks to Gordon for our wonderful shutters. Gordon was the only local company bar one to actually bother to reply to our enquiry. He came to our house and we were instantly impressed with his genuine and honest presentation without any "sales pitch". The other company was very pushy and just seemed to focus on money and there was no attention to detail or personal touch whatsoever. Gordon explained in detail how his offering and installation technique differs to a lot of the local companies. Our shutters have now been installed on all 5 front windows. The finish and attention to detail is seamless in every room and utter perfection as far as I am concerned. There are no gaps around the windows and they look like they have been there forever. The shutter doors open smoothly and the tilting system is fantastic. I highly recommend this professional and local company. Definitely get a quote from Gordon and then compare him to others you won't be disappointed, plus he is a very nice guy to have around and very tidy and considerate.
